Semen, Complete Collection

Container: Clean leakproof container or Polyethylene container

Specimen Collection:

1. Collect a complete semen specimen by masturbation into a clean container following a 2 to 3 day period of sexual abstinence.
2. Do NOT use ordinary condoms or lubricants. Use may result in an invalid semen analysis as many contain a spermicidal agent.
3. Deliver within 1 hour as close to body temperature as possible by placing in an inside pocket or under a coat.
4. Record exact time of collection.
