Multiple Wavelength Spectrophotometry

Useful for diagnosing methemoglobinemia, or identifying cyanosis due to other causes, such as congenital heart disease.

DO NOT SPIN

Specimen must arrive within 8 hours of draw.

Container/Tube: Green-top (lithium heparin) tube(s)

Specimen Volume: 1.5 mL (minimum volume: 1 mL) of whole blood

Collection Instructions: Keep specimen tightly capped (do not remove stopper).
