The LOGAN HEALTH WHITEFISH laboratory offers small-hospital familiarity with the instrumentation of a large medical center. The laboratory is College of American Pathologist (CAP) certified and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified. CAP certification is the highest regarded laboratory recognition in the country.

All outpatient blood draws age 5+
Urinalysis collections
One Hour glucose tolerance test (OB)
After Hours Lab Draws are performed in the Hospital Lab

The lab is a modern, state-of-the-art facility staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for inpatient and Emergency Department patients. The laboratory staff consists of 13 Clinical Laboratory Scientists and six Phlebotomists/Laboratory Assistants. It also serves several local clinics, nursing homes, naturopathic physicians and chiropractors. A courier service equipped to appropriately handle and store samples is used for transporting specimens to reference laboratories approved by medical staff.

College of American Pathologists (CAP) Accredited Laboratory
The CAP program is recognized by the federal government as being equal to, or more stringent than, the government’s own inspection program. The Logan Health Whitefish laboratory was awarded accreditation by the Accreditation Committee of CAP since 1997. Logan Health Whitefish was congratulated for the “excellence of the services being provided.”
The CAP certification mark is a service mark owned by CAP and is used pursuant to a license from CAP.
